Just a quick note to Ben @ Brabus Ventures.
BRABUS VENTURES – Do you want to succeed or merely something to argue about?
Your online marketing ventures are being TOTALLY subverted by your legal efforts to SUBDUE free speech and silence a blogger. While I find this distasteful at best, the real issue here is that you are messing up your online marketing efforts and delivering a blow to your online reputation. You do not NEED honorable, well established folks like Russell Shaw publicizing your errors. You DO NEED him publicizing your apology and retraction of your filing of a lawsuit. You want step one? That is step one. Pride and arrogance do not play into this equation. Again. Do you want BRABUS VENTURES to succeed or something to argue about?

For the record. it truly does not matter the accuracy of the statements made. I do not even care. I am interested in the business of protecting online reputations. Most times right and wrong do not factor into that as much as one might think.
The most important form of reputation management is via the internet.
Just because what essentially amounts to a mosquito (aka Vlad) said or did something you didn’t like – it doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things because he has a small voice within the online real estate community.
Now that some of the more well known real estate leaders have come out and spoken against Eperks , and Brabus Ventures – that WILL carry weight within real estate community across the entire country.
Regardless of the outcome of the lawsuit: win or lose, its likely that most real estate agents won’t want to deal with eperks or Brabus Ventures as a result of their behavior.
Exactly. And that is the point. It is a victory (I guess) to silence one…but at what price?

I dont know if you heard but brabus ventures is now starting a real estate company? I can’t imagine what realtor in their right mind would work for them. Not only that I would not even want to show my clients houses listed with them. Basically because they are sue happy freaks and part of my job is protecting my clients from that kind of nonsense.
