Eric on Excellence – The weekly challenge
Those of us who DO online marketing for a living KNOW that creativity and execution are key to our survival. You are only as good as the last good idea that you have hatched, brought to fruition, executed and profited from. Any thing less is worthless.
EXCELLENCE IS EARNED. IT REQUIRES BOTH CREATIVITY AND EXECUTION.
With that in mind, I thought it would be useful for others if I highlighted the BEST of what we are finding on the web with a WEEKLY challenge. Here is how it works:
1) I will accept nominations from ANYONE on the web for EXCELLENT online marketing efforts. I reserve the right to highlight ANYONE, from ANY INDUSTRY, and ANY TYPE of online promotion. Send your nominations to my email address located on this site.
2) I will post the one or two best examples every Monday morning and will then send out via social media (Twitter, etc.) so folks can drop by and see what the winner did to earn my praise. (HINT: Want to pick up some GREAT ideas that you can apply to your industry??? Visit me HERE on Monday mornings!)
3) The criteria for Eric on Excellence awards? Here they are: I do NOT care about your intentions. That’s for sissies. I am ONLY interested in GREAT online marketing moves: 1) A great blog post that ignites and invites traffic and authority. 2) A SOLID online marketing campaign, well executed. 3) AWESOME linkbait 4) AMAZING widgetbait 5) WELL THOUGHT OUT responses that make monetization WORK. You get the idea…EXCELLENCE.
Simple enough? Good. Below is this weeks’ winner and why:
THIS WEEKS WINNERS:
ZINEPAL.com - Which converts RSS feeds into emailable and printable PDF files. (Hat tip to Teri Lussier @ TheBrickRanch.com). I was part of the group that Greg Swann mentioned in his post about ZinePal and while there is still a ways to go with the development of this product, the execution to date has been excellent and the product is sound.
We have an honorable mention this week…which I will write up next week. Rob Masse is an innovative Florida real estate agent. Get ready for your close up, Rob!
Nominations are open for this week!
