Widgetville USA is in Washington DC…who knew?

October 11, 2008

Being a blog about search engine marketing, you KNOW the subject of widgets is going to come up. (sooner or later!) So where’s the latest Widgetville? Where is the center of the widget universe?

Washington DC, home of the Washington Post. Check out their assortment of widgets and the extent that they go to in making it easy to hook them up to virtually and social platform known to man.

Builds authority.
Builds traffic.
Builds relationships.

All good. All viral.

Nice job guys and gals. Well done!

Eric, I’m a little embarrassed you beat me to the punch on this one (grin). Though I must admit that I normally read a hard copy of The Post. Some of these I’ve seen before, but a few I hadn’t come across yet - some really functional and robust ones. “The Apartment Finder”…if one could figure out a similar and accurate solution for resale, they really have “something”. Hmmm :-) Thanks as always…

They all look great, though I wish there was something there that I could use. Nice blog post.

Got something to say?
