And I agree with your assessment and conclusions across the board. Yahoo's powers-that-be will have a very hard time justifying not taking the offer - especially given the recent layoffs. Will YahSoft (or Microhoo) immediately "take out google"? No. Of course not. But, it does give them a platform, and backing (particularly if they can pick up some of the google guys) - to make a serious run at them within a few years. Great article, Eric.
